Sundance Activities And Dining Guide

Welcome to Sundance and Utah!!!

The resort has extensive activities and dining for all. Engage in outdoor winter activities, or have a relaxing weekend featuring massages, yoga and studio art. Enjoy a variety of dining options focused on fresh local quality ingredients. We are encouraging everybody to plan activities for Saturday morning. We’ll also be out and about on Friday during the day and Sunday afternoon so if you want to plan a longer trip, please let us know so we can connect!

Lift tickets can be purchased same-day, but for other activities it is recommended to book 24-48 hours in advance as instructors are scheduled based on bookings. The Concierge can be reached by phone (801) 223-6000 or email concierge@sundanceresort.com to help you navigate bookings!

Activities - Outdoor

  • Alpine (Downhill) Skiing & Snowboarding: Sundance operates its own ski mountain. Tickets for our guests are discounted ($109) - the ticket office will have a list of attendees, be sure to let them know you are with our party when purchasing! There is a rental shop on site. Lessons are also available. Ski mountain map here

  • Nordic (Cross Country) Skiing: The Nordic center offers 15km of groomed cross country ski trails. Equipment rentals are available. Lessons are also available

  • Snowshoeing: Explore 10km of dedicated trails winding through the woods with scenic views. Equipment rentals are available. Guides are also available

  • Zip Line: Sundance has the third longest zipline with the most vertical drop in the US

  • Pool, Sauna And Hot Tubs: Resort includes an outdoor pool, two hot tubs and a barrel sauna at “The Springs” pool area

Activities - Indoor

  • Spa: Offers massage, facials, body treatments and nails, available for booking

  • Wellness Classes: Complimentary daily Yoga and Meditation group classes are available for resort guests. Private sessions can also be booked

  • Art Studio: Painting, pottery, jewelry making, printmaking, perfume making, journal making and soap making. Available as a drop-in or schedule a two hour class by appointment!

  • Gym: Resort features a Fitness Center

Dining - Cafe Style Or Takeaway

  • Deli: Centrally located, offers breakfast burritos and lunch sandwiches

  • The Lookout: Fast/casual lodge dining with sandwiches, quesadillas, etc

  • Bearclaw Cabin: Mountain top location; ski lodge fare with locally famous nachos

Dining - Sit Down

  • Foundry Grill: Flagship fine-dining restaurant; offers breakfast, lunch & dinner

  • The Tree Room: Fresh, seasonal mountain cuisine for dinners (Tues-Sat)

  • The Owl Bar: Cocktails, bar menu
